Michelle Phillips has been with UAMS’ Organizational Development (OD) department since Sept. 2008. She conducts trainings in leadership development, team building, organizational change, effective communication, generational diversity, conflict transformation, and emotional and social intelligence, among others. She has a Master’s degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from UALR. Her previous experience includes Corporate Community Relations Manager for AutoZone, Inc.; Speech Comm. and Business Comm. instructor for the UALR and Pulaski Technical College; and as a consultant in leadership and OD. In addition, Michelle is a certified mediator through the Arkansas Circuit Court’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission and is a certified Birkman consultant

Anna Olson joined the UAMS’ Organizational Development (OD) department in December 2010. She conducts trainings in leadership development, team building, organizational change, effective communication, generational diversity, conflict transformation, and emotional and social intelligence, among others. She has a Master’s degree in Interpersonal & Organizational Communication from the Univ. of Arkansas at Little Rock. Her previous experience includes Client Executive at James Lee Witt Associates; Speech Communication instructor for Pulaski Technical College; Trainer for Heifer International and an independent consultant in leadership and OD. In addition, Anna holds a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Mediation from UALR and is a certified Birkman consultant.

Rhonda Hart began working with the Organization Development (OD) department in March 2012. Her responsibilities as Training Coordinator include training development with the OD team, coordinating the needs and arrangements of trainings, and participating in delivery of these for all of UAMS. A primary project is the New Online Performance Evaluation system training that was started in 2012. New processes will include eLearning opportunities for training throughout the state for UAMS employees. She holds a Masters of Applied Communication Studies from UALR. Her previous experience includes Instructor for UALR and Pulaski Technical College in Speech Communication. She has years of experience in Vascular Sonography and now teaches at UAMS in the School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography as an Instructor.

Sharniece Hughes joined UAMS in June 2012 as an Administrative Analyst. Sharniece assists the team with coordinating and creating schedules in training tracker, assisting with trainings, managing the budget for the department and leadership institute, and assisting with special projects.

Amelia recently joined UAMS’ Department of Talent Management and Organizational Development (TMOD) in February 2012 serving as Associate Consultant Training Specialist. She conducts trainings on Performance Management, Effective Communication, and Social and Emotional Intelligence, among others. She also serves as the Coordinator for the UAMS Employee Suggestion Program and TMOD Special Projects.

Rhonda Partney joined UAMS in March 2013 as the Senior Consultant of Online Training. She specializes in the design and development of online training programs, tutorials, and websites. Rhonda holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Political Science from Arkansas State University. She also holds a Master’s in Education with a specialization in Learning System’s Technology from UALR and plans to complete her education with a Doctorate in Educational Design and Development from UA. She is a former corporate trainer and has experience in Adult Education teaching ESL.
