Sr. Director – HR Business Partner Services
Jason Rawn, MBA, is the Senior HR Director for HR Business Partner Services at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). In this role, Jason is responsible for leading a team of HR Business Partners and identifying opportunities to leverage HR services to optimize human capital efficiency and maintain alignment with the vision of UAMS. Additionally, he works with leadership to drive people-centered initiatives and implement a comprehensive HR strategy to support business operational goals with emphasis in excellence and collaboration. Jason focuses on transformational leadership and is extremely passionate about customer service and teamwork to help drive strategic initiatives and strengthen internal and external partnerships. Jason graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) as a Cooper Honor graduate. He received a graduate certificate in human resource management from UALR in 2009 and his MBA from UALR in 2011. Jason has worked in big brand retail, most recently at Gap, Inc., for 15 years as the Customer Experience Manager, which included strategic ownership in both human resources and operations. He joined UAMS in October of 2011 in the Psychiatric Research Institute as the HR Manager for the Institute and for the Department of Psychiatry. From 2015-2018, he served as Director of Human Resources for the Integrated Clinical Enterprise, where he worked closely with hospital leadership and service line/department leadership to provide advice, counsel, and guidance to support the strategic goals of the hospital and ambulatory clinics.
