Open Enrollment for 2019

Open Enrollment has ended.

Any changes made during the open enrollment period held Nov. 1-30 will take effect on Jan. 1, 2019.

No changes can be made to your benefits now that open enrollment has ended.   However, you may be eligible to make a change mid-year if you experience a qualified event. Visit Life Events for details.

What changes can I make?

Use this Open Enrollment Checklist to guide you.

Some changes can be made at any time of the year.  Those include your contribution to the UA Retirement Plan (form) and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (form).   For these changes, click the form link, print the form, fill out, and return to our office by email to or by fax to 501-686-5386.

How do I make changes?

All open enrollment elections must be made online in Employee Self Service  (Instructions)
TIP:  Be sure to click “Save” at the top of each screen when you make changes in order to complete your enrollment.

If you need help navigating Employee Self Service, attend one of these computing lab sessions and we’ll help you make your open enrollment changes.  All are held in the Clinical Computer Training Center on the 5th floor of Barton Research, map.

If you select Benefits Participation Overview you will only see the benefits in which you are currently enrolled; but change the date to 01-01-2019 to verify you successfully completed your open enrollment elections.
