About the Advanced Leadership Program

The Advanced Leadership Program, organized by Organizational Development and delivered by UALR instructors, is designed for leaders across all areas of UAMS who are currently in high-responsibility roles or are preparing for broader leadership opportunities. The program focuses on building institution-wide leadership capabilities that align with and support UAMS’s strategic direction and culture.

Program Details

• Schedule: Participants will meet once a month for approximately 4 hours

• Duration: January 2026 – November 2026

• Exact Time & Schedule: To be determined

• Cost: $2,500 per participant

• Capacity: Minimum of 15 participants; maximum of 23

Target Audience

This program is ideal for individuals who:

• Lead large teams, departments, or functions with broad organizational impact

• Oversee significant budgets, strategic planning, or cross-functional initiatives

• Serve as key decision-makers or influencers in their area

• Demonstrate enterprise-level thinking and the ability to navigate complex challenges

• Have been identified as potential successors for senior or executive leadership roles

The program is designed to accelerate development for high-impact leaders by enhancing their strategic thinking, leadership presence, and systems-level perspective.
