Navigating U.S. Immigration Waters
Rita Sostrin, a UAMS external attorney, will be on campus next week to present information for various immigration topics that affect foreign nationals working in the U.S. All foreign nationals are invited to attend the below session that will be held on Thursday, October 16th.

Once my 6 years of H-1B time has ended, what are my options? What are the requirements for a National Interest Waiver? When should I start my green card process? How long will it take to get permanent residency? This session will provide information for the foreign national employed at UAMS. Discussion will include Federal Immigration regulations, acceptable/unacceptable scenarios surrounding various visa types, and other vital information for the foreign national. There will also be time at the end of the session for general Q & A.
