Week One of Onboarding

  1. Campus tour covering key locations.
    • 3D Campus Map
    • Non-Main Campus Employees
  2. Review your job role. Print or save a copy for your record.
  3. Discuss your job-specific expectations and responsibilities with your hiring manager.
  4. Gain access and login to any additional platforms needed for your role. Complete the setup of your computer, email, and any necessary software applications, if applicable.
  5. Employees may need to contact the Help Desk directly (at 501-686-8555 or through IT Service Now) to install computer applications, create a Box account, have Remote Access set up, etc. This can be done before or after Orientation Day. http://itss.uams.edu/
  6. Ensure your work area is organized and equipped with necessary supplies and equipment, if applicable. If you are a remote worker, please review the Virtual Working page by clicking here.
  7. Explore the Location Resources that are available to you as an employee of UAMS.
