Please be prepared to share your answers as we partner together on the development of your eLearning course. Why is eLearning the best solution for your content? What eLearning format(s) do you want to utilize? (i.e. video, text-based, scenarios, specific interactions, etc.) How will you measure the effectiveness of this eLearning course? What needs to be included to keep this course engaging for your audience? Why is your audience taking this course? | The following can be compiled in a PowerPoint or Word Doc – whichever is preferred. Don’t worry about formatting/design though, as this will be addressed during the development stage. Develop your content into an eLearning module Provide up to 3 rounds of revisions (additional rounds after approval from manager) Load to Workday Learning and create the digital course Provide the direct link to the course If necessary, develop an audience/campaign to automatically assign out the course |
Your Additional Responsibilities
- Submit your eLearning request using the OD Request Form.
- This will ensure OD has the necessary details/content to begin development.
- Perform a thorough quality check of the training during the review process.
- Once it is published to Workday, it is best to not continue editing it for minor things. Only major updates will be made.
- Create and implement the communication plan for your training (if one is needed).
- If it is determined a communication plan is needed for the implementation of this course, OD will need to see proof of your plan – complete with specific dates for when the communication will be sent out.
- The course will not be automatically assigned until OD has received confirmation that communication has gone out concerning its assignment. Please either blind copy OD on the initial communication, or forward OD the communication.
