J-1 Alien Physician: report an incident
UAMS is required to notify ECFMG of any serious matter involving an J-1 physician or accompanying J-2 dependent. Any incident or event that impacts the health, safety, or welfare of J visa holders or could cause “notoriety or disrepute” to the J-1 Exchange Visitor Program is reportable.
What need to be reported?

How to report?
J-1 physicians including J-2 dependents must report any serious incident or allegation to UAMS Immigration Services or directly to ECFMG. Immigration Services must report the matter to ECFMG. All reporting is expected to take place within one business day of incident occurrence. Failure to do so may be considered to be violation of the J-1 physician’s visa status.
