Leadership Coaching

Leadership coaching is a one-on-one confidential, entirely voluntary, relational process between a coach and a client that is focused on meeting the needs and goals of the client in order to improve professional performance, increase leadership effectiveness, and/or enhance personal satisfaction and consequently to improve the effectiveness of the organization as a whole.  Eighty-five to 90% of what distinguishes a great leader from an ordinary leader can be attributed to emotional intelligence.  Through coaching, the leaders develop emotional intelligence and gain practice in dealing with difficult work challenges and relationships using the safety of the coaching environment, which will ultimately lead to improvement.

Sometimes at the onset of coaching, certain individual assessments, such as personality assessments or 360 feedback assessments, may be administered in order to focus the coaching process by identifying areas of strengths and areas for growth.
