Participants will identify, explore, and utilize leadership competencies for leading self and other leaders.Additionally, participants will learn to build relationships and work across departmental boundaries, acquaint themselves with UAMS needs, problems, challenges, opportunities, and generate solutions for critical issues facing UAMS. Vice Chancellor In Training In partnership with the University of Arkansas School of Business, this program will train and develop individuals seeking to become a UAMS Vice-Chancellor. Starting in August, participants will meet for a ½ day once a month for 10 months and explore leadership competencies of leading self, others, and divisions at the executive/vice-chancellor level.
