- Log in to the UAMS System using your temporary login information. Please note that temporary login information is only available for 24 hours.
- Complete I-9 verification and any additional paperwork in Workday.
- Schedule any Employee Medical Screenings or health checks required for your role.

- Review Orientation Day venue: Orientation Day is typically hosted at one of the three chosen locations on the Main Campus of UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. UAMS policy mandates that all employees are required to be in person on the Main Campus for New Employee Orientation. (4.7.01 Orientation Procedure Policy) The only exceptions to the policy are found on the In-Person Main Campus Orientation Exceptions page.

- If you have been emailed instructions that mention that you will be attending orientation at a campus other than Main Campus (i.e., UAMS NWA Fayetteville, UAMS Texarkana, etc.), or you received a Zoom link in your email, you will be considered a Virtual Participant for Orientation Day. As a Virtual Participant, you must review the Virtual Working page for this section.
- Review where you will park. Orientation Day begins promptly at 8:00 AM. To ensure a smooth start to your day, please plan to arrive at the Ray Winder Parking lot by 7:30 AM to ensure you arrive at the venue on time. Shuttle trips can take 10-20 minutes round-trip. Complimentary parking is available for your convenience at Ray Winder Parking Lot.

- If you require ADA-accessible parking, paid parking is available in Parking 3 Deck on Orientation Day (YOU WILL RECEIVE A TICKET ANY OTHER TIME). This parking lot is located at 5th and Cedar Street. (Google Maps Link: Parking 3 Deck) Remember to display your ADA handicap placard or license plate to use these spaces. Rates are $1.00 for the first hour and $1.00 for each additional hour, up to $7 per day.
