Managing Turnover

People Element

What is People Element? People Element is a third-party vendor that provides exit survey data to departmental managers and HR Partners. This data includes favorability scores, comment analysis, suggested areas of action, comparison to company, and more.

What is an exit survey, and why is this information valuable? An exit survey is a formal, structured questionnaire that gives employees the opportunity to provide genuine, confidential feedback about their work experience. The topics include trust and respect, communication, development, support, compensation, rehire potential, and more. This feedback will allow UAMS to hear the collective voice of our workforce and take targeted action. In addition, the feedback will be used by UAMS to:

  • Make UAMS a better place to work
  • Identify what drive faculty and staff to be engaged
  • Improve faculty and staff retention
  • Promote organizational effectiveness

Who can provide responses, and how? The survey is available to all voluntary departing faculty and staff. People Element will send an invitation via text and email requesting their participation.

How can I access this information? Please reach out to your People and Culture partner for reporting access. We encourage you to sign up for recurring reports which can be sent to you via email by a pre-determined cadence. *Please note that no data may be available for departments with low turnover or low response rate.
